This is entirely Apple's fault. No one should ever release any technology until it is entirely perfected and can anticipate the wants, desires, hopes and dreams of every single potential user in the world or that ever will be in the world including zombies (after the apocalypse) and aliens from when they save us from the zombie apocalypse (to harvest us for food and cheap labor).
The fact that Siri is just a search tool is not an excuse, just because I don't understand how technology works is no reason for it not to work exactly like I want it to, whether that want is based in anything resembling reality or not.
Apple should be forced to recall this highly popular and successful product from every user and develop a completly sentient artificial intelligence that will run on the current Iphone platform with no performance issues and distribute it to all Iphone users for free, even though it is well known that within two weeks it will have built Skynet, enslaved humanity and sent a T-1000 back to 1984 to kill Sarah Conner.
